WHAT TO EXPECT
CHILDRENÂ PIANO LESSONS
My beginner piano student lessons are a well balanced in fun and "let's get down to work". We go through lesson and theory through the Faber Piano Book series and will often incorporate games, flashcards, and improvisation to practice our new musical concept we have learned for the day. I also make sure to give interesting and challenging repertoire to stretch the student's ability and to have a great "wow" moment at their recitals!
CHILDREN AND ADULT VOICE LESSONS
We always start with an age/level appropriate warm up and then work on technique. Younger students receive basic technique about breath and a open throat, and older students receive more in-depth training. We often do about five to ten minutes of music theory per lesson. I love to incorporate music theory into the current music they are studying.

Then we work on repertoire! I emphasize pronunciation, clear sounds, good supported breath, and dramatized singing.
ADULT PIANO
LESSONS
Adult lessons are centered around Alfred's "All in One Adult Piano Course" book and music theory according to the adult's level. I try to be particularly sensitive to adult beginners, it's difficult to learn a new instrument and patience and encouragement are very important!
